In Congress I will fight to:
• Reduce traffic problems
• Invest in new commuting options for our workers
• Provide more options to cross the Mississippi River
How many of you would like to spend more time relaxing with your family or get to your job quicker each day? Thought so…me, too.
However, due to poor planning, misspent tax dollars in Washington and Baton Rouge, and inadequate infrastructure, Louisiana has lost millions of hours in productivity and billions of dollars in revenue over the last 30 years. By getting our budget in order, cutting wasteful spending, and setting realistic priorities, Congress can partner with local governments and private companies to improve and rebuild Louisiana’s infrastructure.
From adding new bridges and lanes, developing higher-speed rail, and creating more alternative routes, we can unclog the traffic jam that paralyzes South Louisiana on a nearly daily basis.
